“Reduce Abuse Bradford”
Supported by Ontario Trillium Foundation
Reduce Abuse Bradford, supported by Ontario Trillium Fondation, provides support to women, newcomers, girls, and vulnerable individuals experiencing abuse and violence. The program offers client-centered services in a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment to support healing, empowerment, and long-term stability. Through personalized support, safety planning, referrals, and connections to essential community resources, women are empowered to rebuild confidence, independence, and create a safer, more stable future. ehcw helps women overcome social, emotional, and economic barriers while gaining skills, tools, guidance, and support needed to move forward with confidence.

ehcw’s Reduce Abuse Bradford Program:
- Brings women from diverse groups to address community issues on gender-based violence by looking at relevant barriers and community support systems
- Breaks the systemic, psychological and socio-economic barriers by educating women on rights and emergency plans towards taking precautionary measures to live in safety
The program is offered in Bradford West Gwillimbury and will serve women from surrounding communities through in-person, virtual, and telephone support services.
